Make Money

Before you can begin to manage your wealth, you must first have wealth to manage. You need to beat  that cycle of poverty and speed up your prosperity. Money is peace of mind. It can’t get any clearer than that.

There are tens and thousands of ideas that you can find in the net and  ideas that you can get from your friends to begin growing your wealth. While many of us are afraid to go out of our comfort zones and fear the idea of selling something, all income begins from this point.  Even applying for jobs entails selling yourself as a beneficial product to any company you hope to work for.

So, begin with the end in mind. Grow your wealth first.  Set out reasonable income targets and choose your paths. Starting small is key. You need to maximize your existing resources. Here are some traditional  ideas you can consider to build your wealth from.

1.     Real Estate - the real estate industry is a booming market, scout for the best real estate developer with exceptional commission and investment plans. Who knows, one day, you could have your own unit for free! I know of some individuals who have started as brokers and now have units of their own earned from their commission. The amazing part of this is how they have doubled their income from a single source.
2.     Insurance – this is another great way to earn a passive income. Be an agent.  There are reputable companies that offer mutual fund product lines. Conversely, do your own homework. Go out, inquire, learn and  compare the potential income so you can get the best deals from your own efforts.
3.     Multi-Level Marketing – this is a one stop shop of learning to run your own business. It teaches you to manage, leverage and strategize. The income you can get here can potentially triple your
your cash flow. If a security guard or a janitor can earn Php1M, so can  you.

These are just some ideas we can kick around. For the next segment, tune in for more bright money making ideas.

ON NOT BEING A DOORMAT

One of the drawbacks to being kind is being abused and treated like a doormat. It is a double edged sword especially  when it is a conscious effort to always take the highroad. It is a challenge to our humanity when we seek personal improvement. We choose to be kind because it is right. We choose to be kind because we desire to respect others. But what happens when your kindness is repeatedly abused? We would always be found threatened of emotional bankruptcy and cornered against the walls of the wisdom we have learned. We would always be angry and feel betrayed. When then do we say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?

Repeated abuse is not only done to you by an external party, it is also done to you by yourself. When the pain threatens to tear your soul apart, it is time to let go and be your own gatekeeper rather than stay and be someone else’s doormat.

One, CHOOSE HAPPINESS AND PEACE, especially when the abuser and abuse itself will not contribute to the successes of your other goals.

Secondly, KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL, your vulnerability can make you lose focus on the HAPPINESS AND PEACE YOU SEEK

Third, if you need to, SPEAK YOUR MIND QUIETLY AND CLEARLY, this final statement serves both as closure and a reminder to yourself of why it is enough.

Laslty, BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF, it is time to nurse the wounds of that past and move one, grieve if you have to, backlash if you need to, but also set out the plan to your fulfillment, your goals and stick to it.

Remember that no one can make you feel like a victim unless you allow it, so it’s a choice, are you your own gatekeeper or a you someone else’s  doormat.
