Are you overweight? When you are facing yourself in front of the mirror, do you enjoy seeing the bulges where they should not be? Do you repeatedly wish that your were more fit, slimmer and even sexier? Do you sometimes wish too that could wear the clothes that you want but can’t. Sometimes, you need to ask yourself these hard questions. When the answers do not feel good. It is time to move yourself to a drop dead gorgeous plan! Whether you are a man or a woman, letting yourself go is not an excuse.
Watching your girth instead of the weighing scale is the best motivator of all. You see the results right away and encourages you to keep moving on to the next inches. When starting your diet, hold the exercise or the gym till you reach your acceptable size and weight. Often times, exercising while you are still battling your excess weight can turn undesired mass to muscles thus keeping you further away from your slimming goal.
In dieting, you don’t have to deprive yourself. Working around your eating habits or behavior is an effective starting point. An ambitious diet plan can often times fail.
1. First, go for low calorie diet- Reduce the calorie by a forth of your usual intake. Count every calorie portions for the meals you take. Learn to read labels and surf calorie count in the net for minimum portions of meats or veggies you may eat.
2. Next, low carb diet – choose between low calorie carbs that are also filling. A piece of bread, especially wheat bread has lower calories compared to a ½ cup of rice.
3. Take 5 to 6 small low cal-low carb meals every 2 to 3 hours rather than your usual heaping meals.
4. Drink a glass of cold water before each meal. Cold more satisfying than room temperature water and can put off the hunger.
5. Wait 10 minutes before helping yourself to a second serving, food expands within this time.
6. Since it is essentially a no deprivation diet, add more flavorful vegetables to your meals while taking into consideration the calories that go with each flavor.
7. Break down your timelines, targets and objectives into measurable and doable timeframes. The key is balancing your expectations alongside your habits.
When you like how you look, you have a large leeway for feeling good, and feeling good from within is one of the starting points of genuine happiness.
